GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 851 cases; 1,543 infections registered in Oman

The death toll in the UAE has risen to 412

UAE 
The UAE has registered 851 additional Covid-19 infections, 868 recoveries and one death on September 27.

The new cases were detected as a result of 106,034 tests conducted to screen for the virus.

The total infection count has risen to 91,469, including 80,544 recoveries and 412 deaths.

Oman
The Ministry of Health has registered 1,543 new coronavirus cases and 24 deaths in the sultanate, Times of Oman reported.

The total cases in the country have now reached 97,450 including 87,801 recoveries and 909 deaths.

In the past 72 hours, 1,036 recoveries were also reported.

Saudi Arabia
The Ministry of Health registered 403 new cases of the novel coronavirus infection and 28 deaths.

Madinah and Jeddah recorded 43 cases each.

Kuwait
The Ministry of Health registered 345 new Covid-19 cases, 718 recoveries and four deaths in the past 24 hours.


Bahrain
Out of 10,131 Covid-19 tests carried out on September 26, 585 new cases have been detected. With 777 additional recoveries, a total of 62,252 people have recovered from the virus.
