Home Covid-19 GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 842 cases; 536 infections registered in Oman The death toll in the UAE has risen to 402 by Zainab Mansoor September 16, 2020 UAE The Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 842 new Covid-19 infections and 821 additional recoveries on September 16. The new cases were detected as a result of 93,682 tests conducted by UAE health authorities to screen for the virus. The total number of cases have now risen to 81,782, while the recoveries reached 71,456.
