GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 532 cases; Oman registers 1,518 infections

The death toll in the UAE and Kuwait has risen to 328 and 382 respectively

UAE
The Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 532 Covid-19 cases, detected as a result of 49,000 additional tests conducted to screen for the virus.

The new cases identified are undergoing treatment.

The ministry also confirmed one additional death and 1,288 new recoveries.

The total number of cases have scaled to 53,577, while the death toll stands at 328.

Oman
The Ministry of Health has reported 1,518 new infections, of which 1,068 are Omanis.

Meanwhile, with three additional deaths, the fatality count has risen to 236.

Kuwait
The Ministry of Health has reported 833 new cases and three deaths.

The death toll has risen to 382 while the total infections now stand at 52,840.

Bahrain
Out of 9,391 Covid-19 tests carried out on July 8, 610 new cases have been detected.

Meanwhile, with 503 additional recoveries, a total of 26,073 patients have overcome the virus.
