Home Covid-19 GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 528 cases, 2 deaths; Kuwait registers 4 deaths The death toll in the UAE and Kuwait has risen to 283 and 273 respectively by Zainab Mansoor June 9, 2020 The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 528 new cases of the Covid-19 virus, as a result of over 37,000 tests conducted to screen for the virus. The total number of cases has now risen to 39,904. The ministry also reported two fatalities, with the death toll now at 283. With 465 additional recoveries, the patients who have overcome the infection now total 22,740. The death toll in the kingdom stands at 28. Kuwait The Ministry of Health reported 630 new infections and four deaths, Kuwait News Agency reported. The infections have scaled to 33,140 across the country while 273 individuals have succumbed to the virus.
