Home Covid-19 GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 445 cases; Oman registers 1,210 infections The death toll in the UAE has risen to 327 by Zainab Mansoor July 8, 2020 UAE The Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 445 new Covid-19 cases on July 8. The newly diagnosed cases were detected as a result of 51,000 additional tests conducted to screen for the virus. The ministry also confirmed 568 additional recoveries and one death. Since the virus outbreak, a total of 53,045 cases have been detected, while the Covid-19-induced death toll stands at 327. The tally of infections has now risen to 52,007 while the fatality count stands at 379. Qatar The Ministry of Public Health reported 608 new cases and four deaths in the last 24 hours.
