GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,289 cases, 1,135 recoveries

The Ministry of Health revealed that 1,289 new coronavirus cases were confirmed across the country, after 131,633 tests were conducted to screen for the contagion.

In the preceding 24 hours, 1,135 recoveries and three deaths cases were also recorded.

In totality, the country has reported a total of 138,599 cases since the outbreak of the virus. This includes 136,118 people who have since recovered from it, and 508 patients who have succumbed to it.

Oman
The health ministry has registered 320 new coronavirus cases, 465 recoveries and 11 deaths across the sultanate.

Consequently, the total cases have scaled to 117,167 including 107,368 recoveries and 1,286 deaths, Times of Oman reported.

Saudi Arabia
The kingdom reported 450 new cases, 474 recoveries and 18 mortalities in the last 24 hours.
