GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,146 cases; 363 infections confirmed in Oman

UAE
The Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 1,146 new cases, 668 recoveries and one death in the preceding 24 hours.

The new cases were detected in the wake of 85,643 tests conducted to screen for the virus.

As many as 143,289 people have contracted the virus since its first occurence in the UAE. Of these, 138,959 people have now recovered, while 515 patients have succumbed to it.

Oman
The Ministry of Health has registered 363 new coronavirus cases and nine deaths across the sultanate, Times of Oman reported.

A total of 118,503 cases have now been confirmed, including 108,968 recoveries and 1,310 fatalities.

Qatar
A total of 230 positive cases and 214 additional recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.
