GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,111 cases, 683 recoveries

UAE
The UAE has reported 1,111 new infections and 683 additional recoveries in the last 24 hours.

The new cases were detected as a consequence of 154,882 tests conducted to screen for the virus.

The registered infection count has risen to 142,143, including 138,291 recoveries and 514 fatalities.

Oman
The Ministry of Health has registered 973 new coronavirus cases and 15 deaths across the sultanate.

The total cases in the country now tally 118,140 including 108,681 recoveries and 1,301 deaths, Times of Oman reported.

Qatar
The country reported 190 new infections and 201 recoveries in the preceding 24 hours.
