Home Covid-19 GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,061 cases, total infections cross 100,000 mark The death toll in the UAE has risen to 435 by Zainab Mansoor October 6, 2020 UAE The Ministry of Health and Prevention has confirmed that in the preceding 24 hours, 1,061 new infections were reported across the country. The new cases were detected as an extension of 102,379 additional tests conducted to screen for the infection. An additional 1,146 recoveries and six deaths were also recorded. The total cases in the country now tally 102,648 including 91,275 recoveries and 990 deaths, Times of Oman reported. Bahrain The kingdom recorded 454 new cases of 10,540 tests carried out on October 5. A total of 458 recoveries were also confirmed, increasing the tally to 67,933.
