GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,046 cases; 817 infections confirmed in Oman

UAE
Local health authorities conducted 111,882 tests in the last 24 hours to screen for the novel coronavirus strain, which led to the detection of 1,046 new cases.

The health ministry also confirmed 1,154 additional recoveries and one death.

The registered infection count has risen to 101,840, including 91,710 recoveries and 436 deaths.

Oman
The Ministry of Health has registered 817 new coronavirus cases and 10 deaths across the sultanate, Times of Oman reported.

The total cases in the country now equal 103,465 including 91,329 recoveries and 1,000 deaths.

Kuwait
The health ministry has confirmed 475 new infections and 597 additional recoveries in the past 24 hours.

Qatar
The Ministry of Public Health reported 238 new cases, 215 recoveries and two deaths in the past 24 hours.

A total of 2,855 cases are currently active across the country.
