GCC Covid-19 update: UAE registers 674 cases; 1,722 infections confirmed in Oman

UAE
The Ministry of Health and Prevention has confirmed 674 new cases of the novel coronavirus infection, as well as 761 recoveries on September 20.

The new cases were detected as a result of 97,251 tests carried out by UAE health authorities, to screen for the virus.

The total infection count has increased to 84,916, including 74,273 recoveries, and 404 deaths.

Oman
The Ministry of Health has registered 1,722 new coronavirus cases and 28 deaths.

The total cases in the country have now reached 93,475, including 85,418 recoveries and 846 deaths, Times of Oman reported.

Bahrain
Out of 10,531 Covid-19 tests carried out on September 19, 620 new cases have been detected. A total of 599 additional recoveries were also confirmed, raising the recoveries to 57,299.

Qatar
The Ministry of Public Health has confirmed 230 new Covid-19 cases, 214 additional recoveries and one death in the last 24 hours.
