GCC Covid-19 update: Saudi registers 4,919 cases, 39 deaths; Oman reports 810 infections

Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia has registered 4,919 new Covid-19 cases and 39 deaths.

The city of Riyadh has reported 2,371 cases, followed by Makkah (282), Jeddah (279), and Hafouf (273).

The death toll has risen to 1,091 while the infection count has scaled to 141,234.

Oman
The Ministry of Health has registered 810 cases and two deaths, scaling the death toll to 116 and the infection count to 26,079.

Meanwhile, ICU admission total 102.

Kuwait
The Ministry of Health has reported 575 cases and three deaths, Kuwait News Agency reported.

The death toll has risen to 306 while the total number of infections now stand at 37,533.

Bahrain
As of June 16, Bahrain had a total of 5,639 active Covid-19 cases, of which 26 were critical. Meanwhile, 48 Covid-19 patients have died due to the virus.
