GCC Covid-19 update: Saudi registers 3,369 cases, 34 deaths; Oman reports 6 deaths

The death toll in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait has risen to 746 and 269 respectively

Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia reported 3,369 new Covid-19 cases, its highest daily rise in infections, its Ministry of Health tweeted.

Riyadh registered 746 cases, followed by Jeddah (577) and Makkah (376).

The ministry has reported 34 deaths, scaling the death toll to 746 while the total infections have risen to 105, 283.

Kuwait
The Ministry of Health reported a total of 662 new Covid-19 cases and five deaths.

The country has 10,999 active cases currently, while the death toll has increased to 269.

Oman
As many as 604 Covid-19 cases and six deaths were recorded in Oman, its Ministry of Health confirmed.

The total number of cases have spiraled to 17,486 while total ICU admissions amount to 75.

Bahrain
As of June 7, 11.30pm, Bahrain had a total of 5,269 active cases, of whom 12 were in a critical condition. The Covid-19-related death toll has risen to 26.

Qatar
The Ministry of Public Health reported 1,368 cases and three deaths in the last 24 hours, spiking the death toll to 57.

The current active cases stand at 24,166.
