GCC Covid-19 update: Oman reports 1,679 cases; 2,671 infections in Saudi

Saudi Arabia
The Ministry of Health has registered 2,671 Covid-19 infections, 42 deaths and 5,488 recoveries on July 15.

The death toll stands at 2,325 while the infection count has risen to 240,474.

Among the newly detected cases, Jeddah and Riyadh registered 250 and 226 infections respectively.

Oman
The Ministry of Health has reported 1,679 new Covid-19 cases and eight deaths.

Of the newly diagnosed cases, 1,313 were Omanis.

The total infection count has risen to 61,247, while the death toll now stands at 281.

Qatar
The Ministry of Public Health has reported 450 cases, 477 recoveries and 1 death in the last 24 hours.

The death toll stands at 151.

Bahrain
Out of 9,867 Covid-19 tests carried out on July 14, 602 new cases have been detected.

There were 654 recoveries, pushing the total up to 29,753.
