Free stay at JW Marriott Marquis for all Emirates passengers visiting Dubai

The offer is valid for all customers visiting the emirate from December 6, 2020, until February 28, 2021, across all booking classes

Emirates airline has partnered with Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) to offer all its customers visiting Dubai a complimentary stay at JW Marriott Marquis.

The offer is valid for all Emirates passengers visiting the emirate from December 6, 2020, until February 28, 2021, and will be valid across all booking classes.

The airline’s economy class passengers will receive a free night’s stay, while passengers flying first or business class will enjoy two complimentary nights at the JW Marriott Marquis located in Downtown Dubai.

The offer is part of the airline’s multi-million dollar global campaign to promote Dubai. The campaign includes advertising spots and key partnerships such as this one with Dubai Tourism to provide travellers with added incentive to visit the emirate.

Emirates will also create bespoke pages on its website for the campaign, so travellers can easily find information on travel to Dubai, including entry requirements and the health and safety protocols in place in Dubai.

“Going into 2021, Dubai will continue to strengthen its offering for business and leisure visitors with the launch of new facilities and attractions, as well as the return of world-class conferences, events and festivals including the iconic Dubai Shopping Festival, and the first ever World Expo to be held in this region. We are pleased to work closely with our strategic partner Emirates on its latest global campaign, as we look forward to welcoming international travellers to make Dubai their destination of choice this winter,” said Helal Saeed Almarri, director general, Dubai Tourism.

Last month, the airline said that it had re-launched its Dubai Connect initiative which offered a complimentary hotel stay in the emirate to its transiting passengers with layover time of over 10 hours.

In November, it also announced that it would provide expanded, multi-risk travel cover to its passengers, in addition to its current Covid-19 coverage.

The multi-risk cover is applicable to all Emirates tickets purchased from December 1, and is similar to the Covid-19 cover. It also extends to Emirates codeshare flights operated by partner airlines, as long as the ticket number starts with 176. The multi-risk travel cover is offered at no additional cost and is provided by AIG Travel.

The new travel insurance coverage allows for out-of-country emergency medical expenses and emergency medical evacuation up to $500,000, valid for Covid-19 (contracted during the trip) and other medical emergencies while traveling abroad.
