The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi announced that surface public parking bays will be free starting from Thursday, July 30, 2020 until 7:59am on Monday, August 3, 2020, reported official news agency WAM.

The UAE has confirmed that both public and private sector employees will enjoy a four-day Eid Al Adha break from Thursday, July 30 until Sunday, August 2.

ITC urged motorists not to park their vehicles in prohibited areas and to ensure that they do not block traffic flow.

ITC has also instructed the public adhere to Mawaqif regulations regarding resident parking from 9pm-8am.

It said that its Customer’s Happiness Centres’ remote working will resume after the holidays on Monday.

Motorists in Abu Dhabi resumed paying Mawaqif parking fees from July 1, after a three-month suspension period during which drivers were exempted from paying any fee, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The ITC added that all Mawaqif-related transactions including paying of parking fines, residents parking permits and permits for using land as paid parking can be done via its website.
