Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Center has said that surface parking will be free on Sunday, August 23, until 7:59am on Monday, August 24.

It urged motorists to park only in designated areas and not to obstruct the movement of other vehicles.

It also added that people should not park their vehicles in parking lots designated for residents from 9pm-8am.

The transport centre said that its customer happiness centers will not operate on Sunday.

With regard to public bus services and timings during the Hijri New Year holiday on Sunday, the center said that bus services in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra will be according to the schedule for Fridays.

Also, public maritime transport services between Jebel Dhanna marina and Dalma Island, and between Saadiyat and Aliyah islands, will continue as per the current schedule on Sunday too.
