Home Covid-19 Flydubai, Aster offer discounted Covid-19 PCR tests for passengers The offer is available for flydubai passengers travelling from Dubai by Aarti Nagraj September 9, 2020 Dubai airline flydubai has partnered with Aster DM Healthcare to offer passengers Covid-19 PCR tests at a special rate of Dhs180 – compared to the average standard price of Dhs370. The offer is available for flydubai passengers travelling from Dubai, with testing services available at 28 Aster hospitals and clinics across Dubai and the northern emirates. Passengers are required to submit a valid flydubai booking confirmation along with their Emirates ID or passport copy to redeem the offer, a statement said. The test reports are issued after 48 hours. Passengers who require test results in 24 hours can visit Aster Hospital branches in Dubai, the Aster clinic in Bur Dubai or clinics in Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah. Hamad Obaidalla, chief commercial officer at flydubai, said: “In this new way of travelling, we recognise that the precautionary measures that are in place result in additional planning and preparation for passengers as well as associated costs. “This service, in partnership with Aster DM Healthcare, offers fast and efficient testing at a discounted price.” Last week, the airline also announced that passengers who book flights between September 1 and November 30 will be given free global cover for Covid-19. The new service covers passengers’ health expenses and quarantine costs if diagnosed with Covid-19 during their trip, and is valid for 31 days from the time they take the first flight on their itinerary.
