Home Industry First smartphone-based MBA launched for students in Dubai London School of Marketing course will be available all over the world by gulfadmin February 16, 2016 The London School of Marketing has launched a new business course that can be studied entirely on a smartphone. Students will be able to undertake an MBA, a Masters and two undergraduate courses in the same subject without ever having to leave the United Arab Emirates. The United Kingdom-based university will provide access to course tutors, books and learning materials and students will be able to meet up for study sessions at Access Points. If studied in the UK, student fees can exceed $40,000 over three years without factoring in accommodation and living costs. In contrast, mobile course fees start from roughly $6,000, though each region is encouraged to set their own prices. LSM chief financial officer Anton Dominique said: “Everyone has a smartphone now, so it makes sense to run courses which our students can access while they are on the move. “We adopt a ‘click and brick’ approach to learning. This works well for our international students in particular. They have the kudos of achieving a UK degree, socialise and study with other people on the same course and all without the expense of living and learning in the UK.” Tags Dubai MBA Smartphone 0 Comments You might also like Dubai to reintroduce 30% alcohol sales tax in 2025 – report Aldar acquires Dhs2.3bn commercial tower in DIFC 5 tips for thriving in Dubai’s business environment Eid Al Etihad 53: Where to watch National Day fireworks in the UAE
