Fire breaks out at Dubai International Airport
“The blaze was extinguished within minutes by Dubai Airports’ Fire Service,” a spokesperson said
A small fire broke out at Dubai International Airport this afternoon sending smoke billowing into the air.
Dubai Airports said in a statement that the blaze started in a waste bin near the airport perimeter.
“The blaze was extinguished within minutes by Dubai Airports’ Fire Service,” a spokesperson said.
“There was no threat posed at any time to passengers, staff or facilities. Operations similarly were unaffected. The cause is under investigation.”
