Fire breaks out at Dubai Duty Free warehouse

A fire that broke out at a Dubai Duty Free warehouse on Monday afternoon was put out by Dubai Civil Defence teams within 15 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

The fire broke out at around 2pm at the warehouse, located in Umm Ramool.

Civil defence teams received information about the blaze at 2.02pm and were able to bring it under control by 2.16pm.

Dubai Duty Free officials said all their employees were evacuated safely.

“There were no injuries during the incident and we thank the emergency services for their swift action,” a spokesperson said.
