Home GCC UAE Fire breaks out at Al Quoz warehouse in Dubai Dubai Civil Defence put out the fire with no injuries by David Ndichu September 16, 2020 Firefighters from the Dubai Civil Defence managed to contain a fire that broke out at a warehouse in Al Quoz industrial area on Wednesday afternoon. The Civil Defence was alerted shortly before 1.20 pm of the blaze at a warehouse containing plastic and paper materials in Al Quoz 3. Firefighters managed to bring the fire under control within an hour. Officials said nobody was hurt in the incident, whose cause is now under investigation. On September 15, a huge fire swept through a cluster of warehouses in Ajman’s industrial area destroying four units and sending plumes of black smoke into the sky. On August 10, another fire broke out at a Dubai Duty-Free warehouse in the Umm Ramool area of Dubai.
