Fire breaks out near Dubai metro station

The fire spread from three vehicles to a warehouse

A fire broke out near the Abu Baker Al Siddique metro station in Dubai on Sunday.

The blaze broke out in three cars parked near the station and then spread to a warehouse.

In a statement on Twitter, Dubai Media Office confirmed that no injuries have been reported.

The fire was put out about four hours after it broke out.

The cause of the blaze has not yet been revealed.

Dubai Civil Defence said the fire started at 12.25 pm, and fire fighters from Port Saeed, Al Hamriya and Rashidiya were rushed to the site.

Images on social media showed plumes of smoke spreading across the area.
