The first Hyatt Place in the Middle East aims to open in Dubai’s Deira district in April.
The new-build property will contain 210 spacious rooms and suites (35-50sqm) and 84 apartments ranging between 55-140sqm. Rooms will have a mix of Arabesque designs, natural wood finishes and textured glass, a Grand Bed, and modern media and work centre with 42-inch flat-panel HDTVs – and corporate travellers will have access to free high-speed wifi.
F&B options include a Free A.M. Kitchen Skillet (breakfast), a 24/7 Gallery Menu, round-the-clock grab-and-go Gallery Market and ‘coffee to cocktails’ bar. Other amenities include access to the 24-hour Stay Fit Fitness Centre and five meeting rooms offering 246sqm of meeting space.
Hyatt Place is a select-serve brand offering “casual hospitality in a smartly designed, hi-tech and modern environment”.
While the brand is well-established in the US, with more than 165 properties, Hyatt is now turning its attention internationally with more than 35 projects under development throughout the Middle East, India, China, Europe and Latin America.
More details will appear in the March issue of Business Traveller Middle East.
