Etihad To Launch Daily Phuket Flights

UAE residents and holidaying Europeans now have improved access to the popular Thai destination

Gulf Business

Etihad is starting daily services between Abu Dhabi and Phuket from October 26.

The route will be served by a two-class Airbus A330-200 aircraft, with 22 Pearl Business seats and 240 Coral Economy seats.

The popular holiday destination will become Etihad’s second destination in Thailand – complementing its best-performing Bangkok services – and seventh in South East Asia, alongside Bangkok, Singapore, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City and Jakarta.

As well as providing European-connecting passengers with improved access to Phuket, Etihad’s arrival provides additional choice for UAE flyers, given Emirates started flights in December 2012.

Jaipur (April 1), Los Angeles, Zurich (both June 1), Yerevan (July 2), Rome, Perth (both July 15) and Dallas (December 3) are all set to join Etihad’s network this year.
