The alliance will see Ennismore take over the management and growth of the sustainable hospitality brand, integrating it into its global collective of entrepreneurial, founder-built brands. Our Habitas, founded by entrepreneur Oliver Ripley in 2016, is recognised for its mission to build “human connections” and empower local communities through unique hospitality experiences. The brand currently operates 10 resorts across four continents, including locations in Tulum, Mexico; AlUla, Saudi Arabia; Atacama, Chile; and the Kalahari Desert, Namibia. It has new projects in the pipeline, particularly in Saudi Arabia and Asia. Known for its experiential luxury hospitality experiences, the brand’s properties highlight concepts such as music, wellness, art, adventure, food, learning, and “giving back”, while maintaining a strong connection to the natural environment. Our Habitas has attracted significant global investors, including PIF, Starwood Capital, Barry Sternlicht, Maurice Salem, and Travis Kalanick, who have supported the brand’s mission to disrupt the hospitality industry. Our Habitas will benefit from Ennimore’s expertise Ennismore’s operational expertise and global development reach will support Our Habitas’ growth. Additionally, the partnership will leverage Accor’s global platforms, enhancing the brand’s expansion capabilities.
