Emirates is receiving three Airbus A380s and two Boeing 777s this month.

The additional widebody planes will help serve the carrier’s ongoing network expansion. Daily services to Phuket began on Monday, following on from Lyon, which launched December 5.

Services to Warsaw and Algiers will begin in the first quarter, and Accra will be upgraded to B777 services from January.

Emirates’ A380s currently serve Amsterdam, Auckland, Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Jeddah, Kuala Lumpur, London Heathrow, Manchester, Melbourne, Moscow, Munich, New York JFK, Paris, Rome, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Toronto.

In January, the world’s first fully A380-compatible facility will have its soft opening at Dubai International Airport.
