Home GCC UAE Emirates opens booking office in Fujairah It is the airline’s first retail sales office in the emirate by Varun Godinho March 2, 2022 Dubai-based carrier Emirates has opened a new retail sales office in Fujairah, its first in the emirate The opening of the office marked its expansion in the Northern Emirates of the UAE. Located in Al Ghilaila Building, overlooking the Fujairah corniche, the new office is open from 9am-1pm and 4pm-8pm on Mondays-Thursdays and Saturdays, while on Fridays it will operate from 9am-12pm and from 4pm-8pm. The office will remain closed on Sundays. The 68 sq m office features four customer service counters dedicated to flight reservations, ticketing, and general customer enquiries. Emirates has worked in partnership with dnata representation services as its general sales agent in Fujairah for the past three decades. The carrier said that the opening of its first Emirates retail sales office in Fujairah will “offer more first-hand support to the airline’s avid traveller base.” It added that a “significant investment” has been made to Meanwhile, earlier this week the airline also opened a new check-in facility in the emirate of Ajman – its first remote check-in facility outside of Dubai. Opened in collaboration with the Ajman Transport Authority it is located in the Ajman Central Bus Terminal. Passengers departing from Ajman can verify Covid-19 related medical records for their destination, and receive their boarding passes and board one of the Ajman Transport Authority buses to Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport. Once customers arrive at Terminal 3, they can drop off their bags in the baggage area and proceed directly to immigration and security. The carrier added that plans are underway to integrate baggage check-in at the new Ajman facility in the coming weeks too.
