World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the region’s largest indoor theme park, partnered with Etihad Airways to unveil the world’s first Warner Bros. World branded aircraft and an exclusive themed lounge at Zayed International Airport. This collaboration, the first of its kind in the region, offers travellers an immersive experience featuring their favourite Warner Bros. characters. Guests can also enjoy themed experiences in the lounge even before taking off. The partnership was celebrated at a launch event at the theme park, showcasing the creatively decorated Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner. Warner Bros. characters take flight One side of the aircraft features classic animation characters like Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry, while the other side displays DC Super Heroes such as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Etihad Airways is introducing new children’s gift packs for kids aged up to 10 on longer flights, featuring DC Super Hero characters. Infants will receive a themed soft blanket, and juniors will get items such as a branded backpack, Super Hero cape, water bottle, and activity kit. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi will also debut an exclusively branded children’s lounge within the Etihad Airways Lounge at Zayed International Airport. Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, group CEO of Miral, expressed delight in the partnership, stating the collaboration extended a thrill experience beyond the walls of the theme park, “creating unforgettable memories for passengers of all ages”. Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, added, “We’re thrilled to take our partnership with Warner Bros. World to the next level.
