Eid Al Etihad 53: Free parking, Dubai Metro timings – details here

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the revised service hours for all its public transport and related services during the 53rd UAE Eid Al Etihad (National Day) holidays, from December 1 to 3.

RTA’s service provider centres and Customer Happiness Centres will remain closed on December 2 and 3.

Regular working hours will resume on Wednesday, December 4.

Free parking in Dubai

Public parking will be free of charge, excluding multi-storey parking, from Monday, December 2 until Tuesday, December 3

Dubai Metro and Tram schedules

The Dubai Metro will operate with extended hours during the holiday period:

• Saturday, November 30: 5am – 1am (next day)
• Sunday, December 1: 8am – 1am (next day)
• Monday, December 2: 5am – 1am (next day)
• Tuesday, December 3: 5am – 12am (midnight)

The Dubai Tram will operate as follows:

• Saturday, November 30: 6am – 1am (next day)
• Sunday, December 1: 9am – 1am (next day)
• Monday, December 2: 6am – 1am (next day)
• Tuesday, December 3: 6am – 1am (next day)

Public buses (Dubai Bus)

For changes to bus schedules, commuters are advised to check the S’hail app. Notably, the following bus routes will be suspended:

• E100 Bus Route from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station will be suspended from November 29 to December 3, with passengers advised to use the E101 Route from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi during this period.
• E102 Bus Route from Al Jafiliya Bus Station will also be suspended from November 29 to December 3, with passengers directed to use the route from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Mussafah Community.

RTA’s marine transport services will operate with adjusted timings over the holidays:

Water Taxi

• Marina Mall – Bluewaters (BM3): 4pm – 11:50pm (On-demand service from 3pm to 11pm, booking required)
• Marina Mall 1 – Marina Walk (BM1): 10am – 11:10pm
• Marina Promenade – Marina Mall 1 (BM1): 1:50pm – 9:45pm
• Marina Terrace – Marina Walk (BM1): 1:50pm – 9:50pm

Dubai Ferry

• Al Ghubaiba – Dubai Water Canal (FR1): 1pm and 6pm
