Home GCC UAE Eid Al Adha Holidays Announced In UAE Private sector employees will be given three days, while the public sector will remain closed for four days. by Staff Writer October 18, 2012 Private sector employees in the UAE will get a three-day holiday for Eid Al Adha, starting from Thursday, October 25 to Saturday, October 27, the labour ministry has announced. Work will resume on Sunday, 28 October, reported official news agency WAM. Eid Al Adha holidays for the UAE’s public sector will run across four days, from Thursday, October 25(Arafat Waqfa Day), to Sunday, October 28. Ministries and federal institutions will officially resume work on Monday, October 29, according to the circular issued by Humaid Al Qatami, education minister and chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.
