The Events Security Committee in Dubai has put a series of safety and security measures in place for Eid Al Adha celebrations, which are set to kick off across the UAE next week.
The comprehensive plan involves government departments and police centres across the city.

To help visitors and residents enjoy the festivities safely, security operations will include the deployment of 3,500 policemen, 465 security patrols, 66 traffic sergeants, 14 maritime security boats, 10 marine rescue boats, 17 land rescue patrols, two helicopters, 29 bicycle patrols and 165 beach lifeguards.
Additionally, 738 paramedics, 123 ambulances, 75 civil defence vehicles, 24 small cranes, two CBRN responder vehicles and 798 private security personnel will also support the operations during the Eid Al Adha break.
As an additional measure, the authorities have requested the public to call 901 for non-emergency cases and to dial 999 in case of an emergency.
