The weekend of August 31 and September 1 is projected to be particularly busy, with over half a million passengers anticipated.

Authorities prepared to handle traffic surge at DXB

Dubai Airports, the airport’s operator, has announced that it is working closely with airlines, control authorities, and service partners to manage the expected influx and ensure a seamless travel experience.

The airport’s preparation for the high passenger volumes reflects its efforts to maintain efficient operations during peak travel periods.

In other news, DXB welcomed 44.9 million passengers in H1 2024, with strong demand from key markets such as India and the resurgence of China.
