By focusing on “building happiness and prosperity”, the re-branding reflects Nakheel’s goal to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life for citizens, residents and visitors, positioning Dubai as an aspirational city to visit, live and thrive in. Naaman Atallah, CEO at Nakheel, described it as a natural evolution and “an exciting transformational phase for Nakheel”. Supporting the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, the islands will be home to over 80 resorts and hotels, including luxury and wellness resorts, boutique, family and eco-conscious hotels.
