Home Industry Real Estate Dubai’s Nakheel plans olympic-size pool, leisure hub at Jumeirah Park The community has a population of 17,000 people by Staff Writer April 26, 2018 Dubai developer Nakheel has announced plans to build a new health, fitness and leisure centre at its Jumeirah Park community. The company is calling for construction proposals for a clubhouse, retail centre with a range of cafes, restaurants and shops, a 16,000sqft Olympic-size swimming pool, gym and spa. The overall facility will also include a nursery, kids’ pool, supermarket, health and beauty outlets, convenience stores and a car park and is scheduled to open in 2019. Nakheel already has community clubs at existing and upcoming developments including Jumeirah Islands, Jebel Ali, Al Furjan, Warsan Village and Jumeirah Village Circle. The Jumeirah Park community spans 380 hectares and has a population of more than 17,000 spread across 3,000 villas.
