Dubai’s Hala service offers 20% off on rides to and from hospitals
The move is to support those who seek medical attention as well as those who are on the frontline extending care
To offer its support to combat the effects of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Dubai Taxi’s booking service Hala is offering a 20 per cent discount on rides booked through the Careem app to and from select hospitals in the emirate.
The move, in partnership with Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA), is to support those who seek medical attention as well as those who are on the frontline extending care.
The discount is applicable on booking a trip to over 43 select hospitals and healthcare facilities, and is valid on Hala (Dubai Taxi) and Hala Van Taxi. The offer is available for a maximum of 10 trips per user, Dubai Media Office reported.

“Offering the initiative to riders heading to hospitals and clinics in Dubai indicates our commitment to serving the medical needs of our clients by offering them smooth and affordable means of mobility,” said Ahmed Hashim Bahrozyan, CEO of Public Transport Agency, RTA.
Clemence Dutertre, CEO of Hala, said: “Inspired by the true heroes who are selflessly working on the frontlines in hospitals and clinics around Dubai every day, we are introducing this discount on Hala rides for them. We are happy to show our support for them, and of course to our fellow residents who may need these services.”
