Home UAE Dubai Dubai’s Emirates to resume services to Saudi Arabia, St Petersburg The carrier has resumed passenger services to over 120 destinations by Zainab Mansoor September 9, 2021 Dubai carrier Emirates will be restarting services to Saudi Arabia from September 11, it announced on September 9. The carrier will also resume operations to St Petersburg in Russia from October 8, 2021. Saudi Arabia Emirates will begin operating 24 weekly flights to the kingdom starting September 11, including daily flights to the capital Riyadh, daily A380 flights to Jeddah, daily flights to Dammam and three weekly flights to Medina. Flights to Riyadh will increase to double daily from September 16, and plans are underway to boost frequencies across the other gateways by the end of this month. To Riyadh, Emirates will operate EK2817 daily, departing Dubai at 4.40pm, landing in King Khalid International Airport at 5.40pm local time. EK2818 leaves Riyadh at 8.10pm, arriving back in Dubai at 11.20pm. To Jeddah, Emirates will operate EK2803 daily, departing Dubai at 4pm, landing in King Abdulaziz International Airport at 6pm local time. EK2804 leaves Jeddah at 8pm, arriving back in Dubai at 1am the next day. To Dammam, Emirates will operate EK2821 daily, leaving Dubai at 8.50pm, arriving at King Fahd International Airport at 9.20pm. EK2822 leaves Dammam at 10.45pm, arriving back in Dubai at 1am the next day. To Medina, Emirates will operate EK2809 three times weekly. The flight departs from Dubai at 4.30pm, arriving at Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Airport at 6pm. EK2810 leaves Medina at 8pm, arriving back in Dubai at 11.40pm. Russia From October 8, flights between Dubai and St Petersburg will operate four times a week, and will increase to a daily service from October 21. All flights will operate on the Boeing 777-300ER in a three class configuration. Emirates flight EK173 and 174 will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while EK175 and 176 will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturday and Sundays. EK173 will depart Dubai at 9.10am, arriving at St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport at 2.15pm. EK174 will leave St Petersburg at 4.45pm, arriving back in Dubai at 11.45pm local time. EK175 will take off from Dubai at 3.45pm, arriving in St Petersburg at 8.50pm and EK176 will leave Pulkovo Airport at 11.15pm, landing in Dubai at 6.15am the next day. Emirates has been gradually rebuilding its global network, and has resumed passenger services to over 120 destinations. All its customers visiting or travelling through Dubai, anytime during the Expo 2020 period, will be eligible to receive a free Emirates Expo Day Pass for every flight ticket booked with the airline.
