Home UAE Dubai Dubai’s Emirates to resume passenger operations to two more cities in October The airline’s passenger network will scale to 89 destinations in October by Zainab Mansoor September 21, 2020 Dubai carrier Emirates will resume passenger operations to Harare (Zimbabwe) and Mauritius from October 1. With the resumption of services, Emirates’ passenger network will broaden to 89 cities, as the airline gradually reconstructs its global network. Emirates will operate two weekly flights to Harare, connecting with the Lusaka (Zambia) service. The flights operate on Sunday and Friday, connecting Zambia and Zimbabwe via Dubai with various Emirates stations in Europe, the Far East, the Americas, Australia and West Asia. The Mauritius service will initially be resumed with a weekly flight on Saturdays, Dubai Media Office reported. The airline has made Covid-19 PCR tests mandatory upon all inbound and transit passengers arriving to Dubai (and the UAE), including UAE citizens, residents and tourists, irrespective of the country they are coming from. Emirates’ customers can take a Covid-19 PCR test at a reduced rate of Dhs150 at American Hospital in Dubai, American Hospital Dubai Media City Clinic, American Hospital Al Barsha Clinic and American Hospital Al Khawanij Clinic (opening end September).
