The group is seeking UAE nationals to fill an array of positions across various departments. It returns to the UAE Career Fair this year, being held from September 20-22 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, offering job opportunities in aviation and travel for Emiratis. Emirati high school graduates can apply in the National Cadet Pilot Programme; Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License Programme; National Scholarship Programmes; National Cabin Crew Programme; or to work as a customer service professional. Emirati university graduates, however, have the opportunity to apply in the National Graduate Programme; Technology Graduate Programme or for the post of senior software engineer. The group also offers an internship programme that gives recent graduates the opportunity to gain direct practical experience across departments. New joiners will receive on-job and classroom training, enabling them to fully integrate into their new roles. Newly-joined customer service professionals will undergo 12 months of training, involving sharpening their soft and technical skills. Meanwhile, the National Cabin Crew Programme candidates will undergo a 7-week Ab-initio training course before qualifying as an Emirates cabin crew, the airline said in a statement. The 13 new programmes launched among the second set of initiatives of ‘Projects of the 50’ strategy last year, primarily aimed at boosting the participation of Emiratis in the private sector.
