Home UAE Dubai Dubai’s Emirates offers SMEs bonus points equivalent to return economy ticket The incentive is available to SME who sign up to Emirates’ Business Rewards corporate loyalty programme from June 27-July 27, 2021 by Gulf Business June 28, 2021 Dubai-based carrier Emirates has said that Small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) who sign up for an account to Emirates’ Business Rewards corporate loyalty programme from June 27 to July 27, 2021, will receive a bonus of 10,000 Business Reward Points, roughly the equivalent of one Economy Class return ticket to selected destinations in Europe. Emirates currently has over 20,000 SMEs enrolled in its Business Rewards programme. On Sunday, to mark the UN Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Day, the airline said that it was rolling out the incentive to new members who sign up to its Business Rewards programme. As part of the programme, members can avail of easier earning and redemptions of points, greater flexibility on retaining and using those points as well as upgrade opportunities, even on last minute bookings. In the UAE, Emirates said that it prioritises SMEs as part of its tendering process, and is actively working with government stakeholders like Dubai SME in identifying businesses and evaluating the performance of suppliers on a regular basis. According to a 2020 Dubai SME report, which summarises support provided to SMEs, Emirates ranked first among semi-governmental organisations, investing in procurement contracts worth over Dhs79m. It also ranked among the top five organisations supporting small to medium size businesses in Dubai.
