Home Covid-19 Dubai: Three new 24×7 drive-through Covid-19 testing centres open Located at Al Mankhool, Nad Al Sheba and Nad Al Hammar, each of them has a capacity of 1,500 examinations per day by Varun Godinho January 21, 2022 The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has opened three new drive-through Covid-19 PCR testing centres. The new screening centres in collaboration with Unilabs are located at: Al Mankhool, Nad Al Sheba, Nad Al Hammar. Each of these has a capacity of 1,500 examinations per day. The centres are open round-the-clock, seven days a week. More than 200 screening centres (governmental and private) are available throughout Dubai at the moment for those who wish to be tested for the virus. In addition to the three new drive-through centre, the DHA added on Thursday noted that screening at the Al Lusialy hall is on appointment basis only. Appointments can be booked using the DHA app, and the centre is open Monday-Friday, from 8am-6pm. In an update on its Twitter page on Thursday, the DHA reiterated that there is no need for a person who has a confirmed Covid-19 infection to repeat their PCR test after completing 10 days of isolation. On Thursday, the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 3,014 Covid-19 new cases. The new infections were detected, following 504,831 tests conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The nationwide case count has risen to 816,945. Also, MoHAP added on Thursday that 60,354 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine were administered over the previous 24 hours. The total number of doses provided therefore stands at at 23,202,105 with a vaccine distribution rate of 234.59 doses per 100 people.
