The move strengthens DTC’s position as Dubai’s leading transport operator, increasing its market share to 46 per cent and bringing its total fleet to 5,660 vehicles. CEO Mansoor Rahma Al Falasi expects the addition to boost the company’s operational and investment growth, driving higher revenues and solidifying its position in the Dubai Financial Market in 2024. The fleet expansion, he said, addresses the rising demand for daily trips, contributing to the overall improvement of Dubai’s transport infrastructure. Proactive investment and alignment with Dubai’s vision Dubai Taxi witnessed a significant 100 per cent growth in its airport taxi segment, adding 350 environmentally friendly vehicles. Doubling the fleet of airport taxis from 350 to 700 is a strategic move to increase trips by 30 per cent, thus reducing waiting times and providing quicker services to passengers. This expansion aligns with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan, promoting sustainable and diverse transportation options for all residents.
