Lieutenant general Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, asserted the force’s full readiness to secure the venue at a meeting on Saturday. Al Marri also reviewed the workflow and evaluated the work done by the committee’s teams involved in the three main security sectors: the support sector, the operations sector, and the criminal investigation sector. He also stressed that the Expo has been set as the force’s key priority. Expo 2020 Dubai, which will run from October 1 2021 until March 31, 2022, hopes to see 25 million visits during the six months. Visitors aged 18 and above must present proof of any vaccine recognised by their national government or a negative PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours.
