Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV) has celebrated its 10th birthday after revealing growth figures of 24 per cent earlier this year.

DKV, part of Tecom Investments, took the opportunity to thank its 40 business partners that have been located at the business park since its launch in 2003.

Conceived a decade ago by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, DKV was built to cater to the training and development needs of growing free zone industries in the Middle East.

“Changing workforce demographics and global talent trends require companies to be increasingly strategic and analytical about how they recruit, engage, deploy and retain their staff,” said Dr. Ayoub Kazim, managing director of DKV.

“Successful businesses now see effective human resource management as a business imperative and Dubai Knowledge Village has become a one-stop-shop for this.”

Earlier this year, DKV reported growth figures of 24 per cent thanks to the arrival of businesses from the education, human resources and recruitment sectors.

The new companies, which included 80 new human resources and education institutes, pushed the number of businesses across both DKV and Dubai International Academic City to 564.
