Home UAE Dubai Dubai Holding to open region’s first luxury caravan park in Hatta The fourth season of Hatta Resorts and Hatta Wadi Hub will reopen to the public from October 1 2021 – April 30, 2022 by Varun Godinho September 15, 2021 Investment company Dubai Holding has announced that the fourth season of Hatta Resorts and Hatta Wadi Hub will reopen to the public from October 1 2021 – April 30, 2022, and will see the addition of the region’s first luxury caravan park. Hatta Caravan Park will include 11 luxurious, bespoke caravans, with amenities including a television, a kitchenette, and WiFi access. Each caravan can accommodate up to two adults and two-three children. The prices for these caravans start from Dhs1,350 per night. Apart from the Caravan Park, the site will also see the addition of the Hatta Dome Park this year which will offer glamping experiences. At the Hatta Wadi Hub, visitors can choose between 18 camping areas to pitch their own tents and 10 spots to setup their own caravans. These camping experiences can be availed at Dhs129 midweek and Dhs199 on weekends for visitor tents, and Dhs299 midweek and Dhs399 weekend for bring-your-own (BYO) caravans. This season, Hatta’s Inflatable Obstacle Course, will open and be the region’s largest inflatable obstacle course. It spans over a distance of 500m. Hatta Wadi Hub has also introduced Rovers, new 4-wheel off-road electric scooters, allowing guests to explore the the rocky terrains. E-bikes will also be available at the site. Some of the most popular activities from last season will return including Twin Zipline with dual lines to race 350 metres from the top of the mountain straight to the activity Wadi; Hatta Drop In, a first-of-its-kind experience that combines sliding into the water with donuts, skis and body boards; Cannon, a human slingshot designed to achieve speeds of nearly 100kph; and Tube Sliding which allows users to glide down the hillside on a tube. Hatta Hiking Trails is a 32.6-kilometre ability-graded set of hiking routes. The trails, which start from the Hatta Wadi Hub, comprise four colour-coded routes of various difficulty levels, for beginners through to experienced hikers and off-road runners. Dubai Holding is involved in the development of Hatta’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and supporting the local culture and creative community through a strategic partnership with Dubai Culture. Hatta Resorts and Hatta Wadi Hub have welcomed over 1.1 million visitors from more than 120 nationalities to date since they first opened to the public in 2018. The third season witnessed an increase of 105 per cent in footfall compared to the previous season and an increase of 5 per cent in resorts’ occupancy, with a strong overall occupancy of 98 per cent.
