While the unstable weather condition was not as severe as the one on April 16, reports of water accumulation on streets circulated on social media. Dubai government’s directive for remote work applies to all government employees in the emirate, except for roles that need on-site presence at the workplace. The Dubai Government also advised private sector companies to apply the remote work model on the said days. #Dubai Government announces remote working for all its entities on Thursday and Friday, 2 and 3 May 2024, due to weather conditions, except for roles that require on-site presence.
