Dubai Calendar reveals list of events, games, activities over summer

Dubai Calendar, the official listing platform for events in the city, has announced a line-up of live music, culture and sports events, taking place throughout the city between July and September.

Residents and visitors can enjoy citywide activities such as Dubai Summer Surprises, cultural events such as The Laughter Factory, and musical shows at the Beat The Heat festival.

Here are Dubai Calendar’s top picks of events

• Catch the region’s top artists perform at six concerts as part of Beat the Heat 2023. Starting from July 15, rap along with Egyptian trap artist WEGZ and DizzyTooSkinny followed by the beats of the Egyptian band Cairokee and Palestinian Jordanian rapper, El Far3i on July 22, at The Agenda, Dubai Media City, .
• Get ready to groove to the captivating beats as the trio Afroto, Balti and Soulja are set to light up the stage on July 29.
• Two UAE-based music bands, Sharmoofers and Autostrad will perform on August 12.
• Egyptian musical duo Disco Misr and rock band Massar Egbari are up on September 1.
• Indian singer, songwriter and actor Farhan Akhtar will  entertain guests at the Coca-Cola Arena on September 1. r
• Irish stand-up comedian, Joanne McNally is set to perform at The Agenda, Dubai Media City on  September 2.
• Iconic Indian playback singer Asha Bhosle is set for her special performance at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on September 8. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the singer and television personality live in Dubai as she performs her top tunes.
• Enjoy a musical evening with the ‘Fantastic 4’ Indian Idols live in Dubai at The Agenda on September 9.
• Relive the ’90s nostalgia with a live performance by British boy bands  A1 and 911 at The Agenda on September 22.
• Enjoy comedy stand-up performances at various locations in Dubai. Catch the shows at Movenpick JBR Dubai on July 21 and 22, Hyde Hotel, Business Bay on July 27, and Dukes The Palm, A Royal Hide Away Hotel on July 29.

• Dubai Summer Surprises, which runs until September 3, offers something for everyone in the family to enjoy from shopping to cultural shows.
• Dubai World Trade Centre is hosting Modesh World, which runs until August 27. Enjoy interactive experiences, exciting rides, live shows and engaging workshops at the venue.

• Dubai Sports World is celebrating its 13th edition from June 1 to September 10.
