The strategic partnership will increase awareness of the emirate among Hotelbeds’ network of travel agents and partners. It also opens up opportunities for the two entities to work together on roadshows and meetings with travel partners, as well as collaborate on initiatives to promote attractions and events in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, the partnership will promote Abu Dhabi’s ESG initiatives through Hotelbeds’ existing projects such as the ‘Green Hotel Programme’. Designed to identify and promote officially certified properties as sustainable accommodation, Hotelbeds’ Green Hotel Programme is part of a pledge to offer solutions for destinations to participate in the travel industry’s path towards sustainability. The 12-month partnership, which was announced at World Travel Market (WTM) 2022 in London, will help drive further awareness of Abu Dhabi as a destination that is unique in the diversity of thoughtful and enriching experiences it offers, among consumers and trade partners.
