Home Covid-19 Covid-19 update: UAE reports 3,102 cases; tests cross 29 million mark The death toll in the UAE has risen to 1,164 by Zainab Mansoor February 24, 2021 The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) in the UAE has confirmed that 3,102 new Covid-19 cases were reported on February 24. The new cases were confirmed as a result of 179,229 additional tests conducted across the country to screen for the contagion. The health ministry also confirmed 3,814 recoveries and 19 deaths. During a media briefing held on February 23, Dr. Farida Al Hosani, spokesperson for the UAE health sector, confirmed that 5,668,264 doses have been administered, at 57.31 doses per 100 persons. Meanwhile, the number of tests conducted crossed the 29 million mark.
