Covid-19 update: UAE reports 2,798 cases, 3,933 recoveries and 9 deaths

The UAE has reported a total of 2,798 additional Covid-19 infections on February 8.

The new cases were detected as a result of 148,587 tests conducted across the country to screen for the virus.

The country’s health ministry also confirmed 3,933 recoveries and 9 deaths.

The case count in the UAE has risen to 329,293, which include 309,692 people who have now fully recovered from the virus.

Meanwhile, the death toll in the country stands at 930.
